Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025
Tally is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Account data — display name, username, and email or phone number used to sign in.
- Location data — approximate region (city/state level) used to place you on regional leaderboards. We do not store precise GPS coordinates beyond what is needed to determine your region.
- Usage data — drink logs you submit, aggregated into your YTD and career totals on leaderboards.
- Profile photo — if you choose to upload one, stored securely in Firebase Storage.
How We Use Your Information
- To display your name and stats on global, regional, and squad leaderboards.
- To associate your account with the correct regional leaderboard.
- To send optional push notifications about leaderboard activity.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your display name and drink totals are visible to other Tally users on leaderboards. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and storage, subject to Google's privacy terms.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app, which permanently removes all of your data.
Children's Privacy
Tally is not intended for users under 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Your Rights
- Access or correct your data via the Profile screen in the app.
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app.
- Contact us at support@cslade.space for any privacy requests.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
